Meet Glenn (HARI) Collen

  Glenn HARI Collen has been practicing Massage and Acupuncture in Hawaii since 1999. He trained at the Hawaii College of Health Sciences on Oahu - the only physician-directed college in the aloha state. As Glenn demonstrated a natural healing talent, the college principal Dr. Randall James (Doctor of Osteopathy) had Glenn work on all his own patients from an early stage, and upon graduation arranged to have him work for his physician friend, Dr. K.C. Yeung MD.  Glenn further advanced his skills under Dr. Yeung for six years. 

  Glenn is now on Kauai with a wealth of knowledge and practical solutions to your healing.  As a Licensed Acupuncturist, he can treat any number of non-life threatening illnesses ranging from digestive disorders to migraine headaches.  

Going Deeper: Triggerpoint Therapy 

  Glenn is trained and practiced in the art of Triggerpoint Therapy, a type of Medical Massage developed by the esteemed Dr. Janet Travell. Dr. Travell was John F. Kennedy's back doctor and author of "Myofascial Pain and Dysfunction". 

Using this advanced system, one of Glenn's specialties is finding distress tissue within taut muscle bands, releasing them and stretching them to their normal resting length- or in Chinese acupressure what is called "removing chi blockages".
